2 ways to get there.
- Shortest to NICU, but with limited parking.
- Enter Hospital grounds via “Site Entrance” Parking very limited, but you can off load incubator, and crew can join you in NICU afterwards.
- Enter via “Lower Level” (marked on map)
- Go straight ahead, lifts on left/right. Take lift to 6th Floor
- Longest to NICU, but easiest to park.
- Park in A&E (East Wing) – Far right corner, so as not to obstruct other ambulances.
- Take door marked “Ambulance Entrance” automatic doors & code entry – just run fingers down all the middle keys J
- Take corridor straight ahead, just before security doors, Corridor kinks slightly left, go through the security door and turning left, then follow corridor around to right and keep going, until you reach the end of the corridor ( lots of statues and a piano )
- Turn RIGHT, follow along corridor until you reach the lift
- Neonatal Unit on 6th floor, North Wing.
- You WILL have to be VERY authoritative and ask people to vacate the lift.
- Once entering unit, wash hands before proceeding further, for ITU turn right,
